Red Hook man sentenced to 20 years for committing sex acts with two children

A Red Hook man who admitted to criminal sex acts with two minors has been sentenced to 22 years in state prison, according to the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office.
Tashawn Miles, 27, pleaded guilty in March to first-degree criminal sex act with a victim less than 13 and second-degree criminal sex act with a victim less than 15, both felonies. On the first-degree charge, he was sentenced Friday to 22 years in state prison with 20 years post-release supervision, while he received seven years in state prison with 10 years post-release supervision on the second-degree charge.
The sentences are to run concurrently.
