A City of Poughkeepsie teen faces life in prison after pleading guilty in a fatal shooting earlier this year.
Jason Brink, 15, plead guilty to second-degree murder on Wednesday before Dutchess County Judge Edward McLoughlin.
He admitted "to intentionally causing the death of the 28-year-old victim, Shaheed James, by shooting him in the head," said Robert J. Knapp, bureau chief of the narcotics unit for the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office.
