Poughkeepsie police charge man with attempted murder

Two days after gunfire struck a Cannon Street home, City of Poughkeepsie police charged a 22-year-old with attempted murder.

Messiah Faircloth was arrested on one count of the felony charge, police announced Friday. The man's hometown was not given, but police said he was on parole for a previous felony weapon possession charge at the time of Wednesday's shooting.
