Poughkeepsie man sentenced to up to 21 years for violent assault

Poughkeepsie, NY — Javan McMillon, a 28-year-old resident of Poughkeepsie, has been sentenced to 15 to 21 years in state prison following his conviction by a Dutchess County jury.

McMillon was found guilty of assault, six counts of aggravated family offense, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
