Poughkeepsie man sentenced to 23 years in fatal game club shooting of ex-girlfriend

Rosario Curcio, the Town of Poughkeepsie man who pled guilty in the shooting death of his ex-girlfriend at the Pleasant Valley Trout and Game Club last October, was sentenced to 23 years in prison, according to the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office.
Curcio, a former Millbrook pizzeria owner pled guilty to first-degree manslaughter on Jan. 8 in the death of 56-year-old Lana Florio. He was sentenced to 23 years in prison, followed by five years of post-release supervision, on Feb. 5, according to Dutchess County Senior Assistant District Attorney Anthony Parisi.
