Man charged with murder in 2017 Poughkeepsie homicide in prison for violent incidents

On Jan. 2, 2018, Anthony Abbott stole cans of Red Bull from a Speedway in New Windsor.


Attempting to flee, Abbott carjacked a man who had pulled up to the gas station, dragging the victim outside the car through the parking lot, breaking his hip and fracturing his femur, among other injuries.
