Main Street shooter sentenced to decades in prison for killing assailant

POUGHKEEPSIE – Dutchess County Court Judge Edward McLoughlin on Monday sentenced Jan Michael Deere, 37, to 30 years in prison for the March 2024 murder of Jaquan Fryar outside of an illegal nightclub on Main Street in Poughkeepsie.
